Garth Donovan
Editor
Garth Donovan
is a Boston based filmmaker, actor, editor who learned the fundamentals
of filmmaking by doing. He has been making films since he was
a teenager and got more serious about filmmaking after college
ended. Donovan attended Stonehill College, not a film school,
where he learned to edit on a Media 100. Shortly after graduating
he made his first feature film EVERYONE'S GOT ONE which is being
released by Film Threat DVD this coming December. In that film
he acted, edited, pretty much did it all - teaching himself
what it took to make a film work for conception to promotion.
He followed E.G.O. up with another homegrown feature called
MANUAL which stars his sister Savann. Donovan, works as a freelance
editor, and recently cut the trailer for Robert Patton Spruil's
new film TURNTABLE. He is currently directing a pilot for a
reality tv show as well as finishing up a new script that he
plans to make in 2005 / 2006. |
