GazetteAn Arkham newspaper. This is probably the precursor or rival of the Arkham Advertiser. It is mentioned in this tale and never again. In 1927 Lovecraft uses the Advertiser exclusively as Arkham's local news organ. 'Gazette' was a common name for newspapers in Lovecraft's time.
