Ghatanothoa

(PR) Also called the Dark God. The god-demon of the Yuggoth-spawn and later human inhabitants of K'naa in the South Pacific who is kept trapped in the crypts under the fortress atop Mount Yaddith-Gho. His mere visage brings deathlike paralysis to the viewer so that ont even statues are made of him. Once paralyzed, the mind remains conscious for centuries. Over the course of aeons his name has appeared in the forms: G'tanta, Tanotah, Than-Tha, Gatan, and Ktan-Tah. Von Junzt established the current version of the name.
