Jermyn, Arthur

b. circa 1880.  The son of Alfred Jermyn.  Though quite ugly with over-long arms and angular features, Oxford-educated Arthur was poet and scholar and the last descendent of a long line of African explorers.  When his mother died in 1911, he went to Africa to find the truth about his great-great-great grandfather, Sir Wade.  Upon receiving proofs of his suspicions, he ended his life by soaking himself in oil and setting himself afire in the moors near the ancestral Jermyn House.
