Jermyn, Nevild. 1852. A repellent character who was the surly and snobbish son of Sir Robert Jermyn and his wife, the daughter of the seventh Viscount Brightholme. He took off with a vulgar dancer and returned a widower with an infant son. He was killed by his father (though he managed to save his son, Alfred.)
