Jevons, (-)

William Stanley Jevons (1835-1882), British orthodox economist and mathematician. He developed the mathematical theory of marginal utility which states that utility determines value. Among his books were "Elementary Lessons in Logic," "Studies in Deductive Logic," and "The Theory of Political Economies." In his madness, Peaslee repeatedly made mumbling references to this author.
