(creature) Living on the waste Leng Plateau in Dreamworld, under the shadow of the dreaded prehistoric monastery that is the dwelling-place of the indescribable High Priest of Dreamworld, who covers his face with a yellow silk mask, the Leng people once fought the bloated purple spiders of the neighboring vales. With the arrival of the black galleys from the moon, the Leng people were forced into submission the polpi and amorphous blasphemies that hopped and floundered and wriggled out of them. Those slippery grey-white creatures came to be worshipped as gods, and not one of Leng's inhabitants complained when scores of their best and fatted men were taken away in the black galleys.
