Sawyer, Asaph

A tall farmer from Peck Valley known for his long, vindictive memory.  Thirty years after a boundary dispute with neighbor Raymond, drove him to ruin.  Missing his two front upper teeth.  Died of malignant fever in 1881.  Buried in a cast off cheap
coffin too short for himself.  Undertaker George Birch cut of Sawyer's feet.  Repaid the deed from the grave by biting Birch's Achilles's tendons.
