Wilcox, Henry Anthony

The young sculptor who lived in the Fleur-de-Lys building at 7 Thomas Street in Providence.  The youngest son of a good Providence family in Waterman Street, he was educated in sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design.  During a period of seemingly temporary madness he contacted Professor Angell for help in understanding a series of horrifying dreams he experienced and the peculiar statue (of Cthulhu) which he unknowingly created during a dream.
